With all the back and forth on Covid.
Anyone have the most recent strain or come down with it recently?
Reason I ask is I had the razor blade throat Monday night, general stuffy/runny nose Tuesday and Wednesday some coughing and fever ran up to 100.8. Feeling a bit rough.
Not looking to go to doctor as last time I think the nurse got brain tissue for the PCR test.
Just wondering what anyone used to get better. I have been using Mucinex, ibuprofen and Tylenol. Makes no sense as it is viral but last 2 times a ZPack knocked it out after initial dose.

Interesting to see all the tik tok videos of pregnant women chugging Tylenol today to prove Trump wrong. More brilliant libs!

I just recently got over Covid. Basically the same symptoms, high fever, sweats, chills, etc. I know you don't want to see a doctor but, Paxlovid knocked it out for me in about four days. Twenty-five bucks.......well worth it. Get well soon.

You're getting on the tail end of the time frame for Paxlovid to be effective, but if you're still feeling rough and have no contraindications to Paxlovid, go see your doc today and get started.
Forget the Z-Pak. That has to be one of the most overused drugs in this country. You don't have a bacterial infection, so while your symptoms might go away if you score another Z-Pak, the same thing would occur from eating a Snickers bar.
You're doing all the right stuff.
Get well soon.
