My wife & my daughter went with me to Tanglewood Pizza in Bermuda Run, NC yesterday evening,
The waitress walks up and says she’s new. She said she would be trying her mostest to do a good job. She was so dumb we thought we were being punked and TV cameras were set up. She messed up two Cokes and a tea, she did take our appetizer order after about 30 minutes. She was trying her best to be nice but no one was home.
Her table next us was so upset it became comical. When they paid their bill the guy said good luck on your journey to be a waitress.
We were in the floor laughing, because she didn’t have a clue, she told him thank you like he gave her a million bucks.
It was almost an hour before she got our order, she came and ask were we ready to order 3 times and we said yes every time including when she took the appetizer order and then each time she just walked away….lol
We weren’t mean because we felt so sorry for her.
I told my wife someone will come enslave her and she’ll have no idea.
The current generation have a hard time with just talking sometimes.

I never fired anyone who I believed was doing their best. From my experience someone who does their best will increase in productivity day after day. Someone who has great talent and experience will go the opposite direction because day by day the thought that they should be paid more will destroy their work ethic.

she MAY have been a biological woman, she has to figure out her "gender identity" to go along with that, I guess. Must be, because I just set up an online account trying to find the results of some blood work I had done at Quest Diagnostics, and, not joking, part of the account setup questions was:

Butt, siriusly, back to the waitress, obviously it is not ALWAYS the case, and you did not mention any attached flotation devices, but I recall a blonde who live in an apartment next to me in the Charleston area many years ago. She would never be able to drown with the flotation devices she had. She also had to concentrate really hard to put sentences together, even using only one or two syllable words. As you said, the lights were on, but nobody was home. So, there may be some inverse relationship between brain size and chest size in at least one case.

I took my family to Cracker Barrel in Harbison and I ordered water too
drink.My youngest grand-daughter also ordered water.The waitress replied
too me,if you don't drink it then you will have too deal with me. She didn't
bring my Grand-daughters water and told her that I got it. She brought our
biscuits after we had finished eating.She was also joking with every table
in her section.

This young generation stares at phones and I-pads for most of their short lives. I'm surprised they even sought out a job. A friend shared a comparison recently. This generation is like the last chick in a bird's nest. It just sits there with its mouth open and refusing to leave.

The best waitress i've ever had is a a local restaurant I frequent regularly. She's a 60 year old Navy vet...greets all the regulars by name, when you walk in the door, or as soon as she spots you! Every step she takes is a fast walk. She stays busy, but never too busy to be friendly.

bad waitress. Look it up. Kids don't wanna work no more. Back when I was young I drank out of a garden hose and respected my elders and went to church. I said please and thank you and yes ma'am and no sir. We worked hard and played hard and had the best music. Kids these days don't know diddly squat.

The new thing seems to be making you wait forever on your food, then bringing it out cold. The last time this happened to me (last week) I learned our waitress and her BFF were in the restroom taking selfies and posting on Instagram while our order was "up".
I guess her cotton candy hair coloring wouldn't last through her shift.

Yes but she wasn’t that smart, felt so sorry her family let her out.
She’s a single guys dream of he’s looking for a sweet girl without a brain.
She was so dumb we all felt so sorry for her, my wife or daughter wouldn’t have put up with that service without saying something to her or the manager if she wasn’t so clueless.
Our order was all wrong, we just let it go to avoid being there another hour. I tipped her 20% because I felt sorry for her. We really thought we were being punked.

We always tip really well, she got half the tip she would have gotten.
I felt sorry for her because she probably didn’t get another tip. The people beside us were so upset too but I never saw them complain either.
Mama at that table was upset because my wife was giving me a play by play waiting on her top to pop.

is the constant self-video recording. Ironically, I made a viral video just by recording someone on a rooftop dancing and recording a Tic Tok video.
It's especially annoying at the gym were people are taking loads more time on a popular machine or squat rack to make videos of themselves working out.

She was almost as good as our waitress at Berckman's Place at the Masters golf tournament this year ...... except it did not cost you $7,000 for the privilege of being in the Pizza place. It didn't cost me $7,000 either, but it cost my host that much ($1750 per day). Of course once in there everything is "free".
We got there about 8:30 for breakfast. There are 5 restaurants in the building or 4 inside and 1 outside, don't remember. We were seated at one of the restaurants and young waitress comes to the table and asks us for drink orders. Two coffees for my friends and a hot chocolate for me .....which never comes, but I got a coffee instead which I gave to one of the people with me. I order pancakes and a glass of milk. Other two order omelets. Omelets come and finally my pancakes ...... no butter or syrup, or milk, and pancakes were colder than room temperature. I ask for her to take them back and warm them up ....... she does and in 5 minutes brings we cold pancakes, and a butter dish with a chrome cover. I take off the cover ....... empty .... no butter. I ask her to take the pancakes back again and heat them up. 10 minutes later the manager comes out and warns me the plate is hot ..... as were the pancakes. I ask again for butter and syrup that finally arrive. In the meantime, I hear4 a guy at the table behind me say, I didn't order this, but I'll drink it. I turn around and he is drinking "my" milk! I enjoyed my water just fine though.
After we finish, I ask the young lady if she is a hospitality major at South Carolina, and she says yes. I say "you knew I was a Clemson guy didn't you". She said no ...... but I am entering her in your worst waitress contest!
PS: I never got mad because I knew she had no idea what she was doing, but if I had shelled out the dough for those passes, I might be a lille ticked!
