I hate to make this prediction.
Clemson is ranked 107th in passing defense, so in reality all UL needs to do is take what is given to them and we give a lot. Our LBs and Safeties donāt have the speed to protect in space and many times they just flat out bust coverages.
Without a bunch of drops or TOs it gets ugly.
But this is college football and anything can happen! Letās hope it does!!!!

I think this is probably a realistic prediction. I'll go 32-10 Louisville. We're just too slow at LB.

I see a Clemson team with some real energy. And they found a reason to play their a**es off last week.
Brohm is a good one. But I think Dabo really, truly is finding his center again. He seems about the doing not the talking. I think heās got some mojo going.
Look at the end season trends of Clemson football the last 5 years. Dabo has always been Dabo in November, December, annd January. And to me, it wonāt be different.

You may be right, but I've got some hope that the Tigers pull off a victory. In the last 5 games the only common opponent was Boston College. Both Clemson and Louisville won but the Tigers won more convincingly in Boston. The Cards had a slimmer victory in the game played in Louisville. Might not mean anything but it gives me hope...

How many drops were there. Yeah I know the one big drop but drops are not why Clemson beat FSU.
They dominate FSU.

I am not saying that our defense has not been the reason for most of the losses and that they have had many inexplicable bust.
But who are the slow people you speak of?
Woodazz is not slow .. we were told Sammy Brown had world class speed. The Safeties used to be fast.

Louisville's quarterback is best at throwing the deep ball, so surely we have coached that aspect up and will only get beat a time or two. I expect our offense to be ok and score 30+ but I am nervous about our defense.

I could be more specific. Louisville's offense is actually a couple of yards behind ours and total yardage per game. They're not that good. Predicting they were going to score 45 points was not a reasonable estimate.

Keep in mind that we've played a lot better on the road this year. That being said, the lone road loss was to Ga Tech and I'd put Louisville somewhat close in quality. Winnable game but we'll have to play our best for four quarters. I think we will, Clemson 31 Louisville 30.
