My Clemson Alumni Bride of 57 1/2 years, who is a whole lot smarter than this Clemson Alum., has had a very, very rough year health wise. I will not list all of her issues. She was in good health until this year. She has been in hospital several times, been to ER several times, was in long term rehab. for 3 months and physical therapy for 5 months. On top of all that she just learned a few days ago that she now has stage 1 kidney cancer. Don't know any other details at this time.
We would appreciate any prayers you may willing to say on her behalf. I had inoperable liver cancer 6.5 years ago. The tumor according to the Oncologist surgeon was the size of a softball. I was treated with a fairly new treatment at the time and today I am cancer free. Who lives 6 1/2 years with inoperable stage 3 liver cancer? And I am typing this due to God answering my prayers and those of others who prayed for my healing.
So, I have faith that my wife will be in good hands and will live many more years.

Many prayer are being sent for your wife and for you as well. God always answers our prayers it may not be exactly how we expect it to be but he always answers.
We have heard or been told through our lives that we all have a number that we were given the very day that we were born and only God deter mends what date we have been given. We have to keep in mind that God isn't mortal like his children are and only he knows when our time on earth has expired, and only God deter mends where our eternal life in Heaven will be spent with all of our loved ones that made their journey from earth to Heaven.
I have no doubt that God loves listening to our prayers for our friends and loved ones here on earth, but we have to accept that only God has the power to change the date that he gave us here on earth the very second, he allowed us to draw our first breath as a mortal human here on earth. God willed us to take our first breath of oxygen that made it possible for our human body to live here on earth, and only God can take our breath away bc in Heaven a mortal human body will no longer be needed for eternal life in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Praise God because only he had the perfect plan for our beginning!!!

I lost my youngest daughter pretty close to the same time from Pancreatic Hemorrhaging about a week after having a female surgery. I'm nowhere close to getting through a day without my heart bleeding tears!!!

Happy 57th wedding anniversary to you and your wonderful wife. A marriage doesn't stand a chance of enduring unless both partners love and respect each other. I personally feel a marriage which includes God as a guiding light will endure many hardships in life and especially in a marriage.

Interssional prayers are a sign to God that others care about and love their fellow Christian Brothers and Sisters, as God as commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves. That may be the hardest commandment of all to follow.
