95-year-old Dad, Clemson class of'46, had been feeling crappy for about a week, went to get tested, after a few days the results came back positive for Covid-19. He got some better but kept feeling congested, so a friend took him to get a chest X-Ray this morning, which showed fluid in both lungs. Step-sis took him to Spartanburg Regional ER and I just heard he's being admitted for observation and to see if they can break up the gunk in his lungs. Fingers, toes and legs crossed. To make life perfect, dog is having very expensive dental surgery; at this moment, we're waiting to hear we can go get him back. We're in Atlanta; may need to find some place to stay in Sparkle City if dad goes south, as family home may be virus city - maybe a nice wide bridge that allows dogs for us to sleep under. Our aged brains be frazzled.

Good luck, good vibes and prayers for your dad. We are learning more and more about this #### disease each day, so hopefully your dad will benefit from that.
My mom is 78 and lives in Spartanburg. As a nurse, she is good about staying in and wearing masks. Hopefully she stays safe.

OP You just described what happened to my Dad when he was 90. It was not Covid or the Flu it just built up in his Lungs and chest like you described. He started having a harder time breathing and they put him in the hospital. I will be praying hard for Him and all the family. God Bless and Go Tigers
