That was just people hoping because they hinted a former head coach was going to be an offensive analyst. Cutliffe would be amazing, because we really struggle at developing QBs, and the fact that the Mannings love him is just gravy. The actual hire was John Grass, which I'm open-minded about, because he did some good things at Jacksonville State.

Moreso than just as a recruiting gimmick, D.Cutcliffe understands the little details which make a good QB into a great QB.

Don't need Cut as a O-Coordinator, but as a QB mentor with an unsurpassed record in developing QBs, he's worth a shot as offensive analyst despite his age.
