Pleasantly surprised by ticket prices

I was expecting National Championship price levels, such a long break from a real gameday experience, opening weekend, top 5 match up, night game, two well traveled fan bases within driving distance.
Uppers are now close to face value, some lowers under $300. Still over 4,500 tickets for sale on stubhub.
COVID season made people realize the comforts from home ain't so bad? Just not worth investing the money/time to go in person? Find it interesting
Anyways I just secured my two! CU in Charlotte

I've noticed tickets are dropping in price. Another day or two and I may pull the trigger on a couple for myself and my Clemson-grad son. I prefer the comforts of home but he's about to move away for a job and this would make for one of those great father-son memories.

Might be the Mask mandates. Nobody wants to wear a mask in that heat for that long.

Mask mandate only for concourse area, no mask required in seating area, as of now.

There are no rooms in Charlotte, it's not like this is going to be a fun gameday atmosphere. Charlotte Stadium sucks to get in and out of... so add that up and there are not alot of folks willing to part with $300-500 for Tix...

I bet there are a fair amount of folks like me with kids under 12 that are not taking them to mass gatherings. Extend that logic out that there are a lot of family ticket sales (grandparents, parents, kids) that normally would book 6+ tickets and are now sitting out. That likely has dropped demand enough to keep prices low. I mean my father in law is a Jawja Grad and we are tigers (living in NC & SWVa)... we would be there if not for Covid and that would be six right there.

Yea that definitely makes sense, I assumed to spike in cases recently was definitely playing a part in it.

Living just 20 miles north, I would go if parking wasn't such a hassle and UGA fans weren't allowed to attend. Last trip to 1975 game in Athens not the least bit pleasant.

Charlotte's light rail system has been awesome for BoA stadium games. Parking is always a breeze and maybe 10 minute walk from station?
