two drives. They had guys with nobody within 10 yards of them. Flowers and the TE looked like they had force fields around them

Players tend to get gassed when they are on the field

as much as our defense is. Our defense has heart and fights through even though our offense gives them zero rest because they can’t sustain drives.

you are right. the coaches try to rotate lots of guys but it still catches up with you

If our defense forced three and outs they would not be beat down and injured. They can make their own rest.

A lot of that is on the offense always putting th D back on field, but I will say this. When we play teams with a good O line that can pick up our blitzes we are in trouble. That is generally why you see a lot of teams have success passing to their tight ends against us and also why opposing teams with good QBs throw the ball well in the middle of the field. Our defense lives and dies with the blitz. Also love our LBs but you don’t really want them having to cover any one.

And we haven’t covered a TE in like 15 years. We give up 3rd and > 10 on a pretty regular basis. If we blitz, we don’t get home, and guys are wideass open. We only rush 3, we play 15 yds off and someone is wideass open. Same old same old.
