Agree and this has lead to us not having the Dudes we once did while everyone ended even in our conference is catching up. Dabo has been asleep at the wheel. It is time for him to come out of this fog, doing away with his stubbornness and arrogance starting to be the like the Dabo that was first hired at Clemson.

Portal: No. Unless we kick starters off the team, then we use the portal just like we have. We have no room for starters because we don’t Lowe’s anyone to the portal, and the portal isn’t changing the trajectory of anyone. We have lost ONE starter to the portal. There’s no room. And the bigtime players aren’t moving to be depth. Unless you’re talking about nabbing an elite QB out of the portal, then no other position would have changed our outcomes. Unless you have a great QB, it doesn’t matter who you have elsewhere. The team talent has been solid.
Coaching: Currently no. We replaced the OL and DC. Nobody else needs to go at rhe moment. And yet again, it doesn’t matter who coaches what - a team doesn’t succeed with better than mediocre play. It doesn’t matter who’s coaching.
Talent: the talent is without a doubt good enough to be great. Yet again, it doesn’t matter who you trot out there is the QB isn’t getting it done.

I (along with several others on here) have been spot on the last five years.
He hasn’t done what I’ve laid out over the last five years and we’re worse off now than we were 5 years ago.
The talent isn’t elite
The coaching sux
He refuses to adapt and get the talent from the portal to replace the FAILED talent currently on the roster.

And good transfer guys don’t move just to be backups. Bottom line is we have no room.
You nailed Cade tho. Think for just a second how the last 4 seasons would have went with a QB playing 80% of what DW and TL.
We are losing games because the QB has not been good at all. It begins right there and without that fixed nothing will change.

Where do I begin? Player development, coaching, nepotism of coaching hires, lack of leadership(no team leaders), the Clemson offense, and the list goes on.

The biggest issue? For me it would be the lack of player development. Players arent getting better while at Clemson. Examples include Justin Ross, Mukuba, DJ, Barrett Carter, Cade, and more.

Would likely be coaching.
We had a ton of seasoned coaches leading up to the 2016 title, and even more left after 2018.
It was something like 259 years of combined experience amongst the staff and it went down to 28 or so.
And we then replaced a lot of them with inexperienced young guys who came from our system.
So little to no fresh ideas, little to no guys with the pedigree to challenge what we've been doing when the cracks started to appear.
Now, that's the MAIN issue but there are others.

To me I think it has been the pre snap reads of the QB. The OC's haven't helped by using much motion to get the defense to show it's hand and the play calls have seemed predictable and unimaginative. When I can tell you what we are going to do most of the time I know opposing coaches can.
This goes back to Trevor Lawrence. He just had enough talent to overcome some of the issues.

Does everybody remember all the articles about his work ethic ? Dude worked consistently and hard.
Remember the camps he attended and how they all voted on Cade ?
And I'm referring to big names like Manning.
It may be in his head DJ view

The friends and family program. Under/unqualified coaches have permeated all levels of our staff, this has totally wrecked player development and led to complacency
