Physicality is not a light switch

That is turned on and off each week. It is ingrained through repetition. If they aren’t physical now, not much hope for flipping the switch in the near future.

think, What?? Football is a physical sport. You always have to be “physical”. If you play football, there is no other way to be. You just have to be tougher and meaner than your opponent and if you’re that by now it’s probably too late. You can improve on technique and such but who after a few series of downs and being down 3 touchdowns doesn’t realize that better get tougher?

. 100% agree. Bringing more physicality is like bringing more speed. You have it in you or you don't. Tigers can bring more effort. We'll see how motivated the Tigers are on Saturday.

Yep. Effort will look like physicality to some because we will be in better position and might help avoid lazy penalties like holding.

While a little more physicality would be a good thing, eliminating all those false start and other pre-snap penalties is crucial. It's called discipline...and that's pretty easy to learn!!

A lot of pre snap penalties, such as false starts occur due to the fact that we are not prepared for the "physicality" of the game. Therefore, the anticipation of a physical opponent in real time makes you "jump."
It begins by getting more physical in practice, and until this happens, expect more of the same.

and water is wet. how will they bring now when they've really only done so for relatively short bursts un the second half of games.
I can't believe any of those guys have the audacity to say much of anything. Stow it til you show it.

"PHYSICALITY" you either have it or you don't, its not something you have to get out of your gym bag!!
TIGERS have Physicality, but not at the high level needed to dominate the big boys at ND, GA, OS, MI, TCU, TN, Al, and on!!
Dabo, I love ya man' but you were right about the good fashion ### whoppin' and you had 2 weeks to get ready for the 3 freight trains running the rock and 1 lone TE. You knew that's what they were going to do!! ????
Orange Jock straps left all over ND Stadium last week!!
Louisville's looking for some revenge TOO.
GO TIGERS !!!
