Perspective from outside the bubble

I know many of you feel like we embarrassed ourselves last night but when you leave the orange bubble and get out into the real world, the perspective is a bit different.

I live out West and my phone has been blowing up all morning about how we came back from adversity and made a game of it against one of the best teams in the country on their home field. The average fan with no skin in the game watched what they felt was a very entertaining game and thought Clemson should be proud of the effort.

Of course, I did my best to convince them how wrong they were.

We were in the playoffs and in the conversation. We competed and had our chances to win. We got national exposure and respect in a hostile environment.

I’ve heard the same. Most of us are just frustrated with not being able to get over the hump due to self inflicted policies/practices.
