A. Simms become an integral part of a key win for our Tigers. He is a player who has progressed ever since DG went down and appears to be nearing the top of his game for a young player. The guard play in this game may cancel each other out and Thomas is at least an equal to the auburn big man but Simms may be difference maker. I expect him to be back in the starting lineup and hope that he and Thomas can keep the fouls down so they can stay in the game together.

All the young guys are impressive. Trapp and Oliver and Williams will be big contributors in future years but right now we can count on them to play enough to give the starters an occasional break. Let’s hope this is another game where the officials let the athletes play basketball. Nothing is more disturbing than to watch a game the zebras control.

To add to that ..... the highlight dunk that he made in the last game has to give him a world of confidence right now.

Totally agree with that and he will play a role tonight as well. He very well could start the game and help keep their scorer in control. Clemson is a good team ... regardless of what some say. I bet there are several teams in the league who would love to be where we are right now. Continuing to win will be great for our program!

I agree with your assessment but Sims has played better when he comes off the bench
IMHO, and the stats back it up. He just plays better after the tone has been set and
sees the flow and knows the level he has to play at to be effective.

Can't argue with that. He is impressive for a new kid and getting better


Several games recently when he has scored first with a corner three point shot. I love those quick starts. It gets everyone fired up quickly
