It is a fallacy that signing a top quality ball coach requires a $50+M buyout.

A very many top quality no-name coaches (and their staffs) would sign with Clemson and agree to performance based buyouts. And they would deliver a highly competitive product.

Hire me as AD and I'll prove it.
