We got beat... plain and simple, every phase of the game we got beat. Next up Louisville. The season is not over and the team isn't going to stop playing. ND won every phase of the game, OWN IT and quit whining.

What are you talking about? We were not beat by a superior more talented team, we did not perform to our expectations. We beat ourselves, that’s on the coaching staff. Starting with a blocked punt by a team that had 5 on the season - coaching. Dabo needs to look in the mirror- ultimately it’s on him

outplayed us, all night long. Their offensive line owned us, and their defensive plan must have been brilliant, as all we could do was call sideways passes. That we didn't play anywhere close to Clemson standards is obvious, but Notre Dame had a whole lot to do with that.

Superior teams perform, you answered your own statement and I agree with your points but its not all on the staff, the players have to execute. The blocked punt was preceded by a missed block, a legit hold and a ticky tack hold but still a bad play... then special teams mailed it in and got burned... that set the tone for the whole game... do you honestly believe the coaches tell the 3 protection blockers to not block and just let a guy split the seam?
I am not referring to people like you, you obviously have football IQ. The everyone needs to be fired mentality is what drives me nuts.
When the passing charts come out the middle of the field was never used, not that receivers went to the middle and were covered, there was no one there, we played on the boundary for 4 quarters... we have good TE's, nothing until the 4th quarter.

Respectfully ####. This is a loss/beatdown that shouldn't happen with where program is at. This is an eye opening loss that really should make our coaches reevaluate everything.

I think the real head-scratcher here is how is it that we have 2 weeks to prepare for ND and we come into the game so unprepared. There really is not much mystery in what they were going to do. We knew ground and pound was coming our way. I understand that players have to execute but the reality is most battles are won in the planning before the first shot is ever fired. We are deer in the headlights as a coaching staff. We are letting these young men down. They have given their all but just like last year, the defense is wearing out because the offense can't stay on the field. DJ 2.0 has turned back into DJ 2021. It seems the Syracuse game took his confidence away and that continued in the ND game. If it continues against Louisville we won't have an offense that can keep up in a shoot-out and once again will have to rely on our defense to try and hold them off. We will be in the same situation if we face UNC.
There is no quick fix here. We have what we have and will just have to play it out and hope for the best. However, there needs to be some serious soul-searching and changes made in the offseason.

Difference between being a homer and knowing that 50% of the teams lose every week.
Clemson lost bad on the road for a night game against a good team with nothing to lose. It sucked but it might not even make the top 5 losses of swinney era when we consider the context. Off the top of my head, West Virginia, Jamis winston, UGA, last OSU game, LSU.

My favorite thing is people acting like wrs should be open by 10 yards, the OL should hold up for 6 seconds, and the Defensive Line should get home every play.
I keep seeing people saying our wrs don't get separation, 3 or 4 steps is as close to open as you are going to get when playing tight man coverage, you have to be able to trust the QB to throw guys open and not wait for them to be open. The playcalling was bad bc they don't trust the guy executing to make good throws in tight coverage.

We have 2 coach’s that need to go…
Players are fine but we gotta fix the coaching issue.
Grisham is not a great WRs coach. Hell they cant even catch a cold.
Streeter is trying to coach at a college level when he probably needs to learn north/south vs east/west.
Sideline passes dont gain yardage.
Im seeing the same play calls each week which tells me we are playing off high percentage plays that are not high percentage anymore.
