D1Baseball, who has been very adamant about SC getting sent to Clemson Regional, has shifted that overnight.

Their newest projection has Clemson as a #6 national seed and a regional consisting of WCC champ San Diego as #2 seed, bubble team Florida as #3 seed, and America East champ Bryant as #4 seed. Our bracket would be paired against winner of Stillwater regional, meaning a potential date against B12 tournament champ Oklahoma State.

South Carolina, meanwhile, is being projected to go to Chapel Hill regional. C of C, another team long expected to be in our regional, is currently projected out - the Cougs have to finish a weather delayed game this morning, then beat UNC-Wilmington twice to get the CAA autobid.

Yeah, I saw that. Would love that seeding. Tons of teams we haven't played. That's exciting in itself. Also would love a chance to rematch ok st from 7 years ago, except this time in a super. Hopefully this happens and if you noticed, a lot closer to the BA prediction.

Oh, and thanks to uga for being one and done, and a thank you to Oregon St for crapping the bed and Not winning their pod and losing a chance to win the final pac12 tournament... or we'd have lost our national seed.

Clemson/FL would have a built-in storyline of Bakich & O'Sullivan crossing paths & w/ their mentor (Leggett) in the background as well.
