What Jackson does dancing around within the pocket is probably more amazing than what happens when he gets outside and runs. The Ravens must emphasize for their Oline not to grab any jersey. I have never seen a guy float the pocket every which direction and not eventually create a holding call. There’s no reason for the lineman to try to help buy him time since he doesn’t need it. He made some passes while scrambling around that he would not have completed 4 or 5 yrs ago. He’s definitely improved his overall set of QB skills.

Tough question. So many variables play into this. Imagine if Mahomes was drafted by the Jets and had that supporting cast and coaches vs. getting drafted by the Chiefs that possessed the top NFL TE, Tyreek Hill (4 years together) and a HOF HC who is an offensive guru? If that were the case, Mahomes might not be in anyone's top 5. For my money, I would say Josh Allen and Justin Herbert after Mahomes. I love Jackson, but he folds in the playoffs. Purdy is a great young qb, but lots of qbs would be successful with that stacked supporting cast. SF looks like the best roster in the NFL.

Here's what is strange about SF's offense. Kittle, Debo and CMC are no doubt talented but after CMC, how far down the top TEs and WRs do most people get before those guys come up? I think they are excellent but they somehow get under the radar with a lot of people.
As for #2 QB, right now, it has to be Lamar. Purdy is a perfect fit in Shanahan's system. It's amazing the difference between the guy we see on Sunday's and the guy we saw in the bowl game for Iowa State. Literally everybody else has shown their warts this season or been injured.
Disclaimer: I'm so anti-Philly I can't talk about their QB.

GO BILLS!
Shaq Lawson is playing well and Baylon Spector is seeing the field more and more each week, fun to watch.
I’m telling yall, there is nothing like Buffalo in the NFL. It is as close as you are going to get to a college like atmosphere. Come up and experience it and watch THE BEST NFL QB with your own eyes!

Their tailgate videos are absolutely wild. I pull for the Bills and do plan to get up there when they get that new stadium completed.

Probably Lamar and then Josh Allen

Purdy has unbelievable numbers this year but I think Shanahan's system has a lot to do with that, and he also has two fantastic weapons in CMC and Debo.
Tua is also having a great season, but he has (IMO) the best 1-2 punch at WR in the league to throw to. Durability has also been an issue with Tua so I'm not ready to put him up there quite yet.
Lamar at Baltimore seems alot like Lamar at Louisville where he's just asked to do so much, and just never seems to have the level of talent around him that other top QBs often have.

Yep you have to have a good Oline and some weapons. If not it doesn’t matter who is back there. Lot of these GM’s of the teams mentioned have done a great job of getting some difference makers on offense.
Jags currently have Christian Kirk injured and imo has crippled that offense. Need more than 1 weapon.

It all depends on who’s around you. There have been some terrific quarterbacks that never really got to show how great they were because their OL and receivers weren’t great. The ones that are really exceptional are the ones that still shine with less talent around them. It’s unfortunate some of these players get picked by lousy teams. I think Lamar Jackson is great along with Mahomes. We were watching the game last night and I commented to my husband about Lamar way up in the pocket moving around looking for a receiver. He can be so elusive.

Mahomes? I wouldn’t have him as number 1. His team is 8-5, not sure how that qualifies as number 1.
