Our scoring challenges

Clemson moved the ball consistently and had many scoring opportunities. The offense consistently became more conservative and slow paced once we got past the Seminoles 30 yard line. The field goals don’t concern me as much as how many we attempted. We were playing a team with a very pedestrian defense. I believe we left points on the table.

Those who those who are not logically looking at that performance last night, probably think we would beat Miami and Alabama. If the offense doesn’t improve, we will not be able to win a playoff game. The playcalling when we got near the Seminoles end zone, was very pedestrian.

Our FG kicker scored more than half the points scored, and that unit left 6 points on the field...

They’ve been scoring with the long ball so much they forgot how to punch it in once inside the 20!
