just a reminder - we just beat 2 ACC opponents by a combined score of 104 to 10. I think our offense is doing okay.

It does seem like we have an odd habit of chucking the ball 35 yards downfield when we need 3 or 4 yards, but I'm not sure if that's really so much play-calling, rather Trevor seeing an option he likes. But, of course it's hard to complain when we are waxing defenses week-in, week-out.

the offside penalty, we punched it in through a pretty good hole. ET had 3 and LJD had 1 TD. We won't get every 3rd and short. Granted I do believe it is an area we can and should improve on.

We're good enough to line up and run it in.
All three of ETN's TDs were walk ins from inside two yards and LJD did the same thing.
I'm not complaining with the results, but i do think we overthink sometimes.

But to be fair, if he fields that cleanly it's an easy first down and probably a TD. It was set up and blocked very well.
But yeah, I would've taken the 3 points at that point in the game, or barring that gone jumbo package to pick up the yard.
