After mayor pothole Pete's remarks about balloons, not enough black construction workers, and how the train derailment is Trump's fault; Glenn Beck went off on Pete and "infrastructure" spending.
The gist. How much is it going to cost? "Our infrastructure is crumbling", so we pass the largest infrastructure bill in history. Four years later: "our infrastructure is crumbling", so we pass the largest infrastructure bill in history...AGAIN!
It's pretty funny and worth a listen from the 66 min to 70 min mark.

The project was so big the SCDOT had to break it down into 5 parts since no single contractor could bid on the entire project. PS> They've already started on it.

I know I say that without having traveled them all, but I-26 is a nightmare. I challenge anyone to traverse that from Charleston to the Upstate on a Friday afternoon/evening and see if you don't want to punch a puppy afterwards. The condition is horrible and the traffic is almost always snarled.
That highway alone has hurt my Clemson game attendance in the last six years.
