Other than obvious, the reason I wish Clemson / FSU

(mainly CU), could have pulled out wins is so not only would I get to hear less of the coots bandwagoning about the Se-she all season (which I actually find rather amusing personally), but so I will not have to listen to our own more pessimistic fans whine and belly-ache all year long about how some ridiculous membership to some obtuse, over-inflated conference because some circus performing TV personalities get paid to say "it's the greatest", where a quarter of the programs are currently avoiding the bottom of the football toilet, and getting ready to replace their entire coaching staffs because they suck so bad, is going to change everything about us and our program.
Seriously, you guys watch too much TV.
At the end of the day, we would still be the same school... with the same fans... with the same culture... and the same teams... still playing on 120 x 53.3 yards of the same pretty green grass.
Do you think other conference schools are going to be less competitive? Do you think Saban or Mike Slive is going to usher us to some special room full of secret plays, special drugs, and supernatural HGH potions that is going to magically make us a better program? Bull-$hit. You think 'Bama or any other competitive program teetering at the top of that top heavy slog of a conference is going to give a F about us?
The Secret: It's all about that 120 yards of pretty green grass.
If we continue to win there, we win anywhere, and everywhere.
If you don't believe me, just ask that gold-domed team that nearly lost to freakin' Pitt 3 weeks ago. We're 10-2. Live with it.

Need a bump soldier; sure I'll get blasted. But ND

proudly has never been in the "mighty" sec, or any conference affiliation in football and they are about to play for their 12th National championship (14th including claimed).
Neither has USC, Texas, OU, Nebraska, Ohio State (who is also undefeated), Michigan, or even...
Clemson... who beat the best SEC program at the beginning of the season when they won their only poll era NC, and they were in a worse and smaller ACC than today.

Really. This blaming your conference for losing is ridiculous. If we won the games, we would be there. If we had beaten the coots, we would be in an at large BCS. If we were undefeated, we would be either number 1 or number 2 in the nation right now and headed for the BCS. We would be playing Notre Dame. Tajh would be a front-runner for the heisman trophy. But we didn't win and the reason we didn't is because we were outplayed and out coached.

'If we contiune to win there,we win anywhere, and everywhere".Your words. You comment on Notre Dame that nearly lost to B.C. three weeks ago. This is the same N.D. team that beat the likes of Mich St. Michigan,Miami,Stanford,BYU,Oklahoma, and USC(on the road) to complete a 12-0 season and play for the MNC. Our 10-2 record reflects a loss to a higher ranked FSU(on the road) and a USC team ranked just below us at home.It also reflects that our best win was against a freakin Ball State(OOC),while two of our wins came against teams that fired their coaches at season's end(B.C. and N.C.State). "At the end of the day"( again your words),we might be the same school, but we are not Notre Dame( or Bama). Your right. We have to live with it.

Never said "at the end of the day." If we (or any team

with our schedule) had beaten FSU & Usuc too, we would be going to Miami. If ND had lost to Pitt or whoever, regardless of who else they beat, they wouldn't be.
