Big problem. Then more conference games would mean less ooc matchups. Got to be fixed.

Defiantly need to go back to division so schedule would be equal to each division team.
Out of conference is a different story.

No way, divisions are dumb. College is too cyclical to lock teams into divisions. Remember when the ACC was essentially decided for 5-6 years in a row when we played FSU in like September?

and it was a terrible argument at the time. I couldn't believe how most people bought it or at least glossed over the matter without concern. People were so slobberingly obsessed with the playoff developments that no one much gave thought or cared as to what effect it would have on everything else. The hyper-playoff focus has done a ton of damage to the sport.

subdivide the conferences again and/or extend the schedules to 15 or 16 games.

if conferences are not divided into divisions again, then break up the conferences into smaller, truly regional conferences.

Kinda stupid. Yes those team can make it to their conference championship but will in FACT play one of the teams listed and have to win.

I think the OP’s point was that teams can have a glide path into the conf champ game, not about what happens then.
