One more year for Dabo?

Nov 25, 2012, 7:46 PM

Im not ready to see Dabo go just yet and really hope he is here for a long time. The thing is I just don't think he can get us to a team that is elite.Clemson has every thing in place to finish in the top 10 just about every year except an elite style coach.Look at TCU,they had a off year this season but have done way more the last ten yrs with a lot less than Clemson. You can watch TCU play win or lose and after the game say they are a well coached team.Under Dabo's watch I have just not seen a well oiled machine yet not in 1 game. It doesn't matter how much talent you have these young men have to be coached up to win at this level. If things don't change soon the talent is going to start going to other schools.

As long as he's winning 10 games , he's here.

I would say, he's set up next year. If UGA were to put a Bama type beatdown(like they did Tommy's Tigers)next year, things could start to unravel fast. That's what happened to Tommy. I think, because Dabo is a young coach, last year's OB was is only allowed beatdown.

straight to them (and that's VERY likely playing them in Columbia), I can't imagine anyone supporting him. But I bet some will.

Come on, last night was bad, but you really think you haven't seen "a well oiled machine, not in one game"?

experienced depth that the elite teams do... but clearly we are building. We actually have more freshmen and sophomores in the rotation than we did last year, when we had the most in the nation. It sounds like an "excuse", but we ARE young.

Look, the losses to the cheating thug chumps in Columbia have obviously got to stop, but we ARE clearly getting better. 2011 was a better team than 2010, and 2012 is a better team than 2011. And we still have more on the table.

And frankly, you have to be some kind of moron to even think about firing the guy four years into his tenure, especially when considering his set of accomplishments that continuing to grow.

I understand we are young, but what about Meeks, Hall, and Brewer? They aren't young and they are to blame for our most of our secondary woes this year.

Dabo does not have everything in place. He is still in the ACC.

And the ACC is where Dabo wants to stay.***

Maybe he should just say that "the real USC is in Califonia"

Nov 25, 2012, 8:16 PM

or some more type crap like that.

That nonsense seemed to make a lot of people in here happy.

You might need to do a little more research. Dabo wanted to beat that ######## just as much as we did. They are just better than us right now. Their reign will not last, we just need some patience to get the pieces in place. The last of Tommy's recruits are gone this year.

This is kinda what I'm thinkin.

Nov 25, 2012, 8:58 PM

I can agree with Dabo and say we're a bit young on the lines (biggest issue) and that we were severly crippled at DB. With Martin Jenkins back and with a season's experience under the belt for some of the DB, I think we only have room to go up in that area. Also wanna see what Lawson can do as well as Pagano and the Olinemen we got last year...
