Cade knew that 30% was the only quality time the coaching staff were ever going to allow him, and he took full advantage of it. Just wow! When Dabo threw Cade on the field not fully prepared, the entire team recognized his natural leadership and welcomed him immediately, rising to the occasion. Post-game on field interview: Cade was poised and polished, even after Dabo bizarrely attempted to throw him under the bus yet again. Amazing night for Cade and Clemson!

This has got to be one of the strangest situations I've seen in all my time cheering for the Tigers. Were they trying to sabotage Cade's chances at starting or was it gross incompetence? Either way, DJ's tenure as starter has been awful for the program on all fronts. Just astonishing.
