Old? Hipster? Addicted?

For the past 6 months I come to a coffee shop every morning, sit, do work, talk with geezers. That indicates I am old.
Past month I have been wearing Birkenstock’s and Patagonia shorts. That indicates I am hipster.
This morning I am having convulsions cause I have an 830 call and can’t be at the coffee shop for an espresso. That indicates I am addicted.
Am I all three and just fubar?

Pair that sucker with some nice pleated khakis, a blue oxford cloth button down and a navy blazer with gold buttons and some penny loafers, and son, you've got yourself the Columbia uniform.

The children around campus here are all wearing the same shoes... and I mean literally the exact same pair of shoes. They're all white, super chunky athletic shoes, they absolutely look like some sort of diabetes orthotic shoe.
The girls are wearing high-waisted stretchy waist tapered jogger style light wash jeans with said shoes, and some form of crop top or billowy sleeved things.
Gen Z fashion is... I just don't know anymore.

I don't think I'd classify fratagonia or birkenstocks as hipster. Middle aged crunchy white people attire maybe.
