I've been a lifelong Tiger fan who's sadly never made it to a home game. I'm the only Tiger fan in my family including my children who have been corrupted by their grandparents. I have tickets to the Syracuse game next weekend and couldn't be more excited. I'm going to be arriving around noon and was wondering where the best tailgating spots are and if anyone here will be there tailgating? I'm more excited than I have ever been in my life!

Also, is noon a good time to show up for a 7pm game? Or should I arrive earlier/later?

Look for some spots around town or to be safe park at the Y beach, tailgate, and take the shuttle to the game.

The person who gave me the tickets also gave me his parking spot so thankfully that's something I don't have to worry about. Just didn't know if there happened to be a "main" tailgating spot to go to meet and hang around other Tiger fans or posters from the boards.

I'm definitely going to enjoy the game! Can't wait to just see a sea of orange all around and see the Tigers coming down the hill in person. If you happen to see a guy with a big beard decked out in orange getting all emotional when they run down the hill, that'd be me!

I'm just really trying not to miss out on any of the Clemson game experience. I don't know when I'll get another chance to go.

...I live in TX and don't get back much myself. I'd imagine you'd be fine wherever you are since you have a parking pass. Tailgating at Clemson is the best. Not the best in college football or the best in the ACC. The best PERIOD. You'll have a good trip. You'd have to try hard not to. Just take it all in and enjoy the people who are there with you... friends and strangers.

There is no "main" tailgating spot. It's Tiger tailgating all over. Take in downtown, then head on over to the Esso Club. Or take in the Esso Club after the game. Don't be in a hurry to leave, the traffic is awful until 2 hours after the game.

Tailgate right at your parking space You will see a wide range of tailgate set ups from a box of chicken and a couple of chairs to huge spreads with TV's and bars. It's fun any way you do it! Tigers definitely do it best! Have fun! Go Tigers!
