Well, I said it before the season and I pretty much got that reaction 😂 not on tiger net but from Clemson friends. Now when we were 16-13 I wasn’t feeling it then. I knew the office would come around, but I didn’t think the pitching staff could improve this much.

We didn't recruit good per (perfect game) against the acc in post recruited rankings. Meaning kids that actually made it to campus. We've usually wound up around 5th in acc. Top 30ish overall.
So, Monte didn't recruit bad, but not really good either. I think it's a direct reflection of coaching and techniques. Philosophy. Given that, I do think we'll have more actually make it to campus and want to learn under this staff. Bottom line, if we're this now with good to average recruiting... what can we do with top 10 classes. Fun to dream.

Definitely a wee bit premature to expect 40+... don't expect it but an early loss in both the ACCT and Regionals could still happen. And, it would still be a good season if it did.

Before the season, I thought we would make the super regional and lose there. After the season started, not so much. And, now? Omaha all the way!

Not since the sweep by Wake have they lost a series. I think since then they are 21 and 4 with a current streak of 10 games. this team has definitely come together at the right time. Hope they can continue all the way through Omaha. Here's to a little of that bat magic rubs off on the girls starting today.

since he made that run with Michigan. Freaking Michigan! So when he was announced I was over the moon. I still didn't think this was what year one could be like and early in the season I thought it was just a talent gap that was going to have to be made up over a few recruiting cycles. Now I really believe Omaha is reasonable, but its going to have more to do with who we get matched up with than anything else. Eventually we will run into truly shutdown pitching. Even still, if it all ended tmrw, year one has exceeded my expectations.
