Did you know that Holiday Road was written and performed by Lindsay Buckingham of Fleetwood Mac. Stevie Nicks did some of the background vocals.

Go ahead and call me out, but there isn't a better Christmas comedy classic than "A Christmas Story". Family friendly and makes me laugh. I was in 2nd grade in Fairbanks Ak and had to walk almost a mile to school whether it was 50' or -50' below. Actually I think school got cancelled at 50 below, but I remember my mom or grandmother bundling me up like the movie. They put 2-3layers of socks on and it cut off my blood to feet inside shoes so my feet always froze. I would be better with a handkerchief wrapped on feet in boots vs an inch of socks.

I prefer Scrooge made around 1970 starring Albert Finney. I was 8 at the time. I was raised on musicals, so naturally I loved it.

Man, I love my mother and she tried to give me culture but musicals used to #### me off as a kid. She tried to get me to watch classics like 'Gone with the Wind' and I was happier if I could headbutt the wall. Used to love the stop-motion Christmas classics but hated the singing, ha. Even today, 40yrs later, very seldom is there music playing on my radio, if so lets bust out the bourbon!
