Saw mention that we are only after one DT in the ‘21 class. I know we had ridiculously good ‘20 cycle but how deep are we? I’m probably forgetting some injuries. And I know our coaches wouldn’t sit out at at DL if they thought otherwise. Just trying to make some football discussion and curious thoughts more for next year.

Remember that everyone has chance to return next year so we may not lose any DL. Pickney could return for another year.

Depending on who comes back you could have J. Williams, Capehart, Breese, T. Williams, Ruke, Pinkney, Rueben, Davis, then incoming Page. Should be ok.

Ruke was injured most of year. Just came back. T Williams is done for year. Capehart didnt do much but has a high ceiling. Rueben very raw but hopefully develops into a good player. Be interesting to see what J Williams and Pinkney do with the young guys on the roster.

I know he kind of outgrew DE but was hoping he’d just turn into a freak DT. Pinckney should be able to show out you’d think. You’re right our young studs are just going to takeover if some of the older ones don’t.

Pinckney is a huge dropoff from the two studs. If he returns next year, he'll probably be behind both Capehart and Williams and get even less playing time.
