Heard at TAMU you can take courses in BBQ Science

This is no joke. Basically, you learn about BBQ-ing. They even have more specific classes on the subject you can take like Smoking (where I guess you learn how to smoke the meat). You can't major in it but you can take a series of different classes on just BBQ-ing.
Do we have anything a bit off the wall offered like that now on campus? I know we had the "ice cream" class (back in the 90's when I was in school which I'd assume we still have), but don't know of anything else.

But I know that one's legitimate. They make pretty good money from starting salary standpoint.

That's a seriously good degree, more about engineering the machinery I think.

I have my degree in Packaging Science. It's a great degree with great job opportunities with more and more companies looking for graduates with this degree. Pay is on par with engineering degrees. I work for BMW as a Packaging Engineer.
On a side note, my brother in law (Clemson grad too) took a class on BBQing out at TAM. Let's just say I always look forward to a dinner invite to his house.

They used to have Meats Lab where you learned how to kill, butcher, and then cook all the different meat animals. I took that one and the dairy science lab that was the "ice cream course" but we made yogurt cheese and other stuff too.
I've heard they have recently added classes on brewing beer, distilling spirits, and wine making

They do make some tasty brisket down there in Tejas. I always make it a point to have some when I go to Forth Worth.
