If they are one demensional, then that's one hell of a demension. I don't care for his personality, but Manziel is a fantastic athlete and quarterback. I'm not sure that any other team in the country other than Bama (wel maybe Oregon) could have have beaten A&M today. I like Saban's attitude of we are going to smash you in the mouth and see what you can do about it. And, they have a very good passing attack. Two good teams going at it tooth and nail. I do think our DL could go toe to toe with A&M's offense line.

We need to go up and stomp N.C. State, make a statement. If we don't do that, then the ratings won't matter. If we do, the ratings will take care of themselves. This is the most important game of the season, and in my opinion, an effort like last week won't win it.

I don't care. We need to go up to N.C. State, and demonstrate that we are an elite program that can play on the road. This concerns me far more than ratings BS. If we blow this game, how important will the "ratings" be?

That come the next AP poll will have ATM ranked below us.
Bama deserves their ranking. They beat a dang good team on the road (really, a dang good offense, not a dang good team) and finally showed some offensive muscle this year.

2) My subject line wasn't meant that I'd bet him that he wanted to lose, but rather that I'd bet him anything that he was willing to lose (as in willing to lose in a wager) that A&M wouldn't be above us in the rankings.

Is it unreasonable that we focus on a very difficult game that our team faces this Thursday night, rather than on pointless speculations regarding ratings BS? Win and everything else will fall into place.
