This is a time when being thorough might be more costly than being swift. The anger is growing like nothing I've ever seen in a fan base.
This went from "2008 Noon Game Fiasco" to "Rob Spence Bubble Screen" anger within 12 hours.

There is a third professor openly applauding the assassination due to the inaction. It’s not just that the admin failed to act. In failing to do so it is becoming evident just how deep the rot is.

It’s too late. They’ve risen to the top of the national influencer pillory list. The story isn’t going away, Clemson will do nothing over the weekend, and there will be irrevocable damage by Monday. Anyone inclined to authority should understand President Clemente did this through hubris and stupidity.

I don't even think the professor did anything initially worth him getting fired even as stupid.as it was. Now I.wouldnt mind him fired.because he idiotic comments have now created problems.for the university. It's a distraction.

No one who works with students can be allowed to endorse viewpoint violence, much less assassination. It’s a bare minimum standard that he clearly failed. But there are now three of them, each more abhorrent.

His comments were.vague and was basically saying he didn't mind Kirk gone in a.subtle way or not so subtle depending on how you look at it. He didn't exactly endorse.murder from any posts that were posted.here. I haven't read those ones. Either way,.he has become a.major.distraction due to his foolish comments. I won't be surprised.if.he is.let go.
