Dabo himself said that. Thanks to him yapping, any quality transfer guys are going to go somewhere else. They know if they came here, they’d get basically no playing time over “his guys”.

yep...its not because we haven't tried. There are two types of players in the portal 1) the studs who have already worked out a deal with another school and we aren't getting those and 2) the guys who are unhappy about playing time...I can't think of anyone on our roster I would replace with a guy who cant start somewhere else.

I agree. we've tried to get a few with no luck. I am not convinced those were genuine efforts because we recruit (still) well enough to get many people we go after

Somebody contacts them and makes an offer before his coaches know anything about it (in my opinion). They very likely know their destination before going public about leaving. Some body is tampering. I don’t think Clemson football staff wants to play that game.

We're apart of a public relations nightmare right now in that these kids think Dabo is against it. Even though he's repeatedly said he's not. So I think they're gun shy. He needs to hire a NIL Business Coach or something to get that stigma off our back.
