Clemson is the 9 seed going up against #8 NC State. Not a bad draw. We lost to the Pack 4-3 in Raleigh earlier this year.

Is there even a mathematical truth to having a 0% chance ?
I mean , what about the unforseen calamity or the taking of hostages .
There has to be a 1% chance in all of this , doesn't there T_I_P ?

NC State is only ranked around 45 so they wouldn't be that great of a ranking boosting win. We aren't in the top 75 right now and you have to be top 42-46 or so to get an NCAA at large berth.


South Carolina is 59th and just beat #12 Arkansas Sunday and yet they still are a longshot to make the tournament, let alone us make it for beating #45.


Season will end after Virginia, if we beat NC State

they are ranked 28th so even if they are upset in round 1 of the ACCs they will be in it
