Lots of new players

Not sure there is a bat on the team to directly replace Shaffer but there should be more experience through the line up. There are some returning starters and relievers that did very well on the pitching staff and should be better after a year of maturing in key roles. There will be lots of new guys contributing on the mound.

I think we will win forty games. I saw a few freshmen last year who did pretty well at the plate. plus the pitching is going to be good. not 06 good but pretty good

I was thinking that pitching will be our strong suit this year. With the Coots starting out a new coaching staff could be the year we get some revenge.

I dont "dis" Leggett. I look at his results and our poor fundamentals and I think we can do better.

Not a big fan of Leggett and everyone knows it. Prior to this past season his recruiting has sucked. It would be like Duke basketball being out of the top 25 in recruiting for a span of 4 years.
Corbin and Sully were huge to Jack. Just my opinion. I think Clemson is a program that almost recruits by itself. You literally have to give up to go a span of that long without getting top players.
Yes. I know the MLB screwed us. Just funny how we can't close the deal and other schools can.
Bombs Away.

sigh deroberts no one "hates jack". I love the mentality that if you question a coach you "hate them". I dont know Coach Leggett I have no reason to hate the man. I do however know about Baseball and can see past Orange shades.
I appreciate what he has accomplished here but I expect more than 1 Championship in 18 years out of what should be one of the top Baseball programs in the nation.

hosting and winning a regional is given. Not many programs do that year in and year out.

Jack will always be compared to Tanner and that is unfortunate. Clemson has one the top baseball programs in the nation every year and Jack is a great coach.

I never compare Jack to Tanner. Tanner is on a whole other level. I compare the program from what it was to what it is becoming. The fans are still there and will always be there. Just the complete lack of conference championships is something that frustrates me. I am not even going to go the obvious national championship route.

Jack is not a great coach. Great coaches win Championships.
Jack is a good coach.
He beats teams that he is supposed to but when talent equalizes that is when coaching takes over and he gets out coached against top teams. His record against top 25 competition supports this claim.
