I don't see it. Before Newman transferred there, maybe... but I think Chase wants to do more than hand off to his RBs 3 out of every 4 plays. My guess is he'll follow Jeff Scott to USF, but with 2 years of eligibility remaining, I think he'll have plenty of options.

than USF. I really think he can be a P5 starter somewhere. But those opportunities are somewhat limited which could mean moving pretty far from home and he may not want to do that.

I agree with you, I definitely think he has the talent to be a P5 QB. He just needs to make sure he's getting into a good situation with the right coaches, because he's seen what happened with Kelly Bryant and Hunter Johnson. I thought both of those guys would have more success than they have so far. Kelly wasn't bad when he was healthy, but the fit into the offense is really important.

Sometimes a Group of 5 school can be a better option than a P5 one, just ask Hunter Johnson. I am not saying that there are not better options, but that some of the Group of 5 schools could be in there as well.
