the acc..its either leave the acc for clemson or be considered a group of 5 school in the coming years

Please step back from the cliff and tell us what facility needs we have that would cause us to leave for a piece of bigger money. Clemson and its academics and size fit perfectly in the ACC. If, and it is a big if, the ACC wants to expand, two fits might be Iowa State and Colorado but distance is a problem.

not already have a current or future Power 5 conference affiliation. And, even if we could, I just do not see the reasoning behind combining the remaining dregs of the Pac 12, just to gain more inferior bodies. Clemson's path should be to get out of the ACC, with SEC preferable, but BIG as second choice. Either would make financial sense. Remaining in the ACC is financial suicide.
