Show all top nil programs in cfb In college football, top Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) programs are typically associated with well-funded collectives, strong donor bases, and success in attracting top recruits via both high school prospects and the transfer portal. Based on recent reports, Texas and Texas Tech have emerged with two of the most robust NIL operations, with Ohio State and LSU also being top-tier programs. According to reports from 247Sports, On3, and other athletic outlets in late 2024 and mid-2025, here are some of the top NIL programs in college football:
Rank Program Estimated Annual NIL Spending Key Indicators/Notes 1 Texas ~$22.2M Has the strongest financial position with a powerhouse collective and the highest-paid roster in the country. 2 Texas Tech ~$28.0M Reportedly spent the second-most in the country in 2025, primarily on transfers. 3 Ohio State ~$20.2M Distributed significant NIL earnings in the past year, with many star players and top transfers returning for 2025. 4 LSU ~$20.1M Supported by a strong donor network through its athletic foundation, which is a major factor in recruiting. 5 Georgia ~$18.3M Invests heavily in recruiting and consistently lands top classes, backed by significant brand power and donor support. 6 Texas A&M ~$17.2M Utilizes its influential 12th Man Foundation to raise significant funds for NIL and other athletic investments. 7 Michigan ~$16.3M Re-signed several top players before the 2024 season and secured top-ranked quarterback Bryce Underwood for 2025. 8 Alabama ~$15.9M Remains a strong NIL program, though it has recently lost some players to other programs based on NIL factors. 9 Florida ~$15.8M Boosted by a major donation from a high-profile booster, with significant resources dedicated to its football program. 10 Clemson ~$15.2M Its NIL situation is expected to grow significantly in 2025 as the program evolves its approach to recruiting and the transfer portal. Note on data: Figures on NIL are often estimates because deals and collective spending are private. Rankings can fluctuate based on reporting and the timing of financial decisions. Some teams, like Texas Tech and Texas, reportedly use large, one-time deals to secure top talent from the transfer portal.

Well that right there kills the narrative that Clemson don't have enough money to keep up with big boys. Clemson is Ranked #10 in NIL payout and #3 in coaching salaries according to chatgpt. Honestly a top 5 ranking in CFP should not be out of the question!
Go Tigers !! 🐅 💪

I was wondering the same thing. The list I saw was similar except Clemson wasn't in the top 10. I don't believe we are in the top 10 and certainly don't think we can compete with the Texas schools with donor money.
