Nick Honor transfer ... two questions

1. If he was probably going to be a starter at Clemson next year, why would he transfer elsewhere in order to be a starter?
2. If he was probably going to lose his starting spot at Clemson, why would fans be surprised that he decided to leave before that happened?

I think Brad was trying to force in a suttle way either Honor or Dawes to transfer because he needs a better guard to get to the NCAAT next season.
To tell you the truth, I am surprised that it wasn't Dawes the way Brad threw him under the bus for guarding that buzzer beater really badly vs Va Tech.

Question for you:
When Dabo goes into halftime after a bad half and says, "well we had some dumb penalties, missed a bunch of tackles, and missed 2 field goals", do you get mad at him for throwing our players under the bus?
You would have to be unbelievably soft to transfer because of what brownell said about the last play.

"We had some dumb penalties" is about the team. It's not singling out any individual.
After a loss, have you ever heard Dabo blame the players? Have you ever heard him blame an individual?

Was that punter blamed for a loss? Dabo definitely holds his players accountable, and for something that egregious and in the spotlight, of course it gets attention. But if we had lost that game, you really think Dabo would have blamed that play? Absolutely not.
If PJ Hall starting shooting logo 3s, or Dawes punched a guy and got a technical, those things should be called out without a doubt. But, Brad goes a step further and blames players after losses.

The Transfer Portal is college student athlete Free Agency. Nobody questions an NFL, NBA, MLB or NHL player for trying to get a better deal on a different team through Free Agency (especially when YOUR team is on the receiving end of that player's talents). The days of undying allegence to a team are long gone.
