what up tigers - fighting texas aggie here that has fallen into some new friends recently that happen to be clemson alum. i love talking college football with them and find the parallels to our two schools to be similar. you guys have a terrific fanbase and i'm looking forward to watching you guys play this year. i'll be following close and rooting for you guys. excited to see watson play as well.
look forward to playing you guys in a few years as well.

Not sure how A&M views the horned frogs - but I thought their fan base was a class act. Heck, I don't ever remember having a problem with anyone from TX. Genuinely nice folks.

TCU is fine. good people but kind of preppyish. we call them "purple baylor" it's astonishing to me they can't sell out a home game, especially being ranked in the top 10...and now top 5. never met a TCU fan i couldn't stand...they're good dudes.

I got treated better by them than any other road trip I have ever been on. Sorry about what happened at yell practice down in Columbia last year. Our little brothers don't have much class. I promise you that you'll get better treatment when you're in TigerTown.

Yall got tough schedule for sure, but nice home games - we don't care much for ole miss and the felonious stealers of our Stadium name from LSU - you're friends will fill you in on that.

yeah, tough schedule for sure, we'll see where we stand early starting off against ASU. i hate LSU so much. they're the ut (texas) of LA. no one went to school there but everyone calls them 'we'. i'm so glad we stole their def coordinator

there was a kid that played at the high school by my house that was one of the highest recruited players in the state of TX that was reportedly going to Ole Miss. a kid i knew that played on the football team said they had offered him 150K to play there. but then he ended up going to LSU so either they offered him more or it was just a fake story.
these days you'd have to be pretty creative to pay a player these days but it wouldn't surprise me.

Welcome to Tigernet! I was there in 05. Was a great game. Met some great AtM fans. Met one guy who so me buy a new Tiger hat. Ask me to trade it for a new AtM hat. We made the trade. Still have it. Only worn it once.

@Chadhot welcome to the tiger family. It is a breath of fresh air to converse with college football fans that are welcoming and unbiased. Love what Kevin sumlin is doing at A&M. He is a great coach and runs the program the right way...much like dabo, and shaw at stanford.

Texas A&M is a wonderful place. Fifty nine years ago(1956) I was a young Asst. Prof. at A&M when they played TCU on October 20th for the SouthWest Conference Championship. A fellow faculty member arranged a blind date for me with his wife's cousin who was a TCU student. I was able to convince her that the A&M student tradition of kissing their dates when there was a score applied to faculty as well. Six months later, to the day, we were married on April 20, 1957. So we are still together and proved all those doubters wrong! By-the- way, we still practice that tradition when attending Clemson, State, and Carolina Hurricane games. I often wonder what the fans around us think when that old couple always kiss after every score. College Station has worm place in my heart.

I, too, went to College Station in '04. Hotter than hell but my wife and I were treated like heroes. It was awesome!
In 05 we brought our firstborn home from the hospital at 11 a.m. and I made it to Clemson that evening for the thrilling victory and back home again in time for the 2 a.m. feeding.
I love A&M , especially now that Johnny F is gone.
