New coordinators are growing up

Both Streeter and Goodwin have grown tremendously in their schemes and play calling through 4 games. And I don’t think they were just saving it for the bigger games. Continue this throughout the season and they will be clicking when it’s most important.

they held back on the Tight ends until WF & NCS. WE heard about it all off season .

The best call of the night was a play Dabo drew up on the sidelines.

I do think they had a better game plan, but still a WAYYYYS to go.

1. Streeter has some tendencies that DCs are picking up on. I know he is trying to play it safe for DJ, but he would be better served to be more aggressive.

2. Goodwin did great last night. He understands his DBs and where they are at in their careers. He helped them out a lot last night, but really the DL helped those guys out. I do worry a lot about the 15 yard buffer with our DBs almost every down. Thats on tape and teams will start to just take the 8-10 yards. NC State realized it wayyyyy too late and started to exploit it

I agree, but I think the buffer is eliminated when we get Jones and Green back.
Also, it was the time in the game when we needed to prevent the chunk play.

Just think how much better Wes will look with all the starters back. I think he's done a great job considering how he's had to piece together a D-line and a secondary.
