Needless to say our poor showing in the draft reflects our inability to compete

in the new world of NIL monies. We hear things have changed some and we may be more competitive. We back doored the conference championship in a week conference but we and the ACC crapped out in post season.
I long for the good old days when Dabo’s plan worked and we were on top. But those days are gone.
Sad but true.

No it doesn't. You're clueless about where the program stands right now.

We made CFP and gave talent-loaded TX a good game

We were in that game in the 4th Qtr until Sammy Brown got held (enveloped is a better description) by the TX guard. Sam y was in the gap to stone the TX RB who then, with the benefit of the terrible no-holding call, ran for the 70+ yard game seal8ng TD.

Put another way, you don’t know what you’re talking about.

You are right that Sammy was held on that Play! However, that was an absolutely ABYSMAL Defensive Performance against Texas. The Defense was ABYSMAL for most of the Year with horrific Busts and Gross Poor Fundamentals!

Not to mention our inability to score at TD on 1st and Goal inside the 5 yard line...

I don't agree that we back doored the ACC Championship, but the unlimited Pay-For-Play and Unrestricted Free Agency that is college football the last few years has made it much more difficult to compete in obtaining the top players, no question.

We didn’t back door anything. We won the games we needed and Miami didn’t! And they had the #1 overall pick in this draft.

We earned it!

Long shot, but we have three players to be drafted next year who could be top ten picks if they have a good year. Klubnik, Parker, Woods.

Really I think it shows we kept our best of those that could have gone early. We are in a good position for a run next season.

We likely have 4 first rounders next year

We just have a loaded and full roster coming back.

Why do some “dudes” go out of their way to create negative narratives? You’re kind of pathetic buddy.

EXplain the whole back door BS

For the IGNORANT, to back door it, would have meant LOSING to Miami and needing them to lose.

In today's big conference scenario, 3 teams vied for the Top spot ,played 8 conference games, they didn't play each other.2 teams with best conference records went to championship game.

As for the draft ? the guys that were supposed to be drafted from this very small class, were drafted.
