The two teams that get to play in the ACCCG could depend upon their opponents record. We play Pitt and Miami doesn't. Miami plays Syracuse and Clemson doesn't. It will help Clemson if Pitt stays undefeated. It hurts Miami opponents record if Syracuse takes a loss.

If they have a conference loss and we win out, the tiebreaker won't matter.

If we beat Pitt we essentially have a 2 game advantage over them

We need Pitt to run the table and beat everybody except us. We also need to root for Pitt when they play SMU as well. If we beat Pitt and they beat everybody else on their schedule, we can actually lose an ACC game to Lou or VT and still make the ACC Championship game.
