This is good. Now players especially with NIL contracts will have to commit to 12mos periods.

I didn't read entire article, but I would assume teams could take players out of portal outside that window? This woukd be important to both the players in the portal but also there will be teams that have injuries during spring practice that may need portal players to fill those losses.

This is a good things for schools because if the Portal window is January, it will make recruiting numbers easier to make work.

This is already gonna go to court.

Until CFB unionizes and gets anti trust exemptions like the pro leagues stuff is gonna keep going to court.
