NCAA Volleyball ESPN

Two ACC schools in last four. Great match right now. Clemson can’t play or recruit at this level because of our facility. Digging those hits would hit our ceiling. Crazy it has not been addressed. Great sport-maybe our new AD can find the funds.

This sport has never been relevant at Clemson because nobody has really tried to bring this sport to another level.

It's sad because Volleyball was doing really well while Jolene Hoover(2 ACC Regular Season and 1 ACC Tournament Title and 8 NCAA appearances) was the head coach(1993-2014) and then she retired after the 2014 season and now Clemson is on their 3rd head coach since.Volleyball reminds me of the women's Basketball since Jim Davis left in that it just has not been taken serious at all by the athletic department

The ladies played their hearts out this year. Think we have a good coach. Now we just need a little attention. We should have plenty of funds now for the other sports.

Why not use Littlejohn for volleyball? I noticed many P5 schools use their basketball arenas for volleyball, wrestling and gymnastics. Jersey looks like a high school gym.

Jervey can be a huge advantage though for the Tigers and I say that because if Clemson is having a good season like they did under Jolene Hoover so many times,it can be an intimidating place for opponents to play because of how loud it can get in there.I have been to a few matches that were packed to the gills and when that place has 2,000 fans in it it gets loud and the fans are like right on top of the court so that echoe hits off those walls and can be deafening.

Yea they got a real nice facility too,in the Devaney Center.I was thinking that it was where their men's and women's Basketball teams play also but that is in the Pinnacle Bank Arena...https://huskers.com/facilities/devaney-center/13

Yep it’s loud. It’s also the reason every super bball high school player leaves. The ceiling height limits play. These high caliber teams play in arenas and it makes the difference in quality play and recruiting.

We need a new facility. Share with gymnastics. Whoever decided gymnastics and basketball would share Littlejohn didn’t consult coaches. Practice-setup- whoa.
