thats just the sec advantage. usually the home team gets 3 points (and this is a nuetral site game), but the new rules stipulate that all sec teams get an additional 3 points because they are in the same conf. as 'bama and lsu.

No way any Clemson man can pull for UT.... regardless of the opponent.
Wonder why the tickets for that game are so much less than for our game the next night? My son got 50 yard line seats in the lower section from NCSU for twenty dollars less than my end zone mezzenine seats that I bought from CU.

I guess each school has a choice of how to value their tickets. My son got two in section 135 on the 50 for $154.oo and I got two in the end zone section 236 for $170.00. Anyway I hope we both come home happy!

sure agree!!I have been saying this for years,, however lots of ACC fans refuse to pull for other ACC teams and delight when ACC teams lose OCC games and still wonder why the ACC is thought of a weak!! U simply can`t have it both ways.. ACC teams win OCC games or we stay where we are now!

I've lived in Raleigh for 12 years and if any of you have also lived there you know how bad state fans are. I cannot pull for them. Especially after the game last year and the beer cans I had whizzing by my head but nobody would step up and own it. I hate state with a passion and I think UT is going to win handily because state really isn't that good

I lived in Raleigh for 10 years and found UNC fans to be far worse than State fans. Moreover, most of the UNC fans seemed to have never set foot in a classroom, UNC or otherwise.

I sure understand what U are saying and I agree that is very hard to pull for some ACC teams BUT; if the ACC is ever going to get ANY RESPECT it will only come when we beat teams from other conffs!!sad but true!

The actual UNC graduates aren't as bad, but you really have to search hard to find one of them. Maybe it's because 30% of my graduating class went to state. But I will pull against any Triangle team unless they are playing the chickens

Well there are plenty of opportunities to change that reputation and have state get their butts handed to them on a platter. We have 2 chances, FSU, GT, Wake all have one. And that's just against the $EC. UVA plays the NAMBLA lions. I'm sure there are others

The ACC hasn't gotten respect in a decade so what exactly is going to be different? If we go undefeated we will be in the playoff, it's not like it's the mountain west of CUSA. I don't want to sound like those coot maroons chanting "SEC! SEC! SEC!" it's stupid. What good does it do me or Clemson if state beats UT?

We need the ACC to win out of conference games then to win the ACC ourselves.
If the ACC goes o'fer against major conferences, it just supports the argument and reputation that the ACC is weak.

this is absolutely not correct.. when ACC teams beat OCC teams it helps the entire conf!! we will never get to where we want to be until the entire conf is up lifted!if we win the ACC and get stomped like in the Orange Bowl we will continue to be thought of as in a very weak conf..

discussing the NC State V. Tenn game. They are more interested in the UNC scandle, basketball, hockey, Panthers you name it. If they do discuss NC State v TN, they talk about the effects of losing to TN and how this will be Tom Obrien's last year if he doesn't win 9 games.
These people don't even realize college football season is about to start. Anybody in the SEC that thinks NC State or UNC would be a good fit is nuts. I'm starting to wonder if there are any real college football fans in the Raleigh area. Nice city, but I actually miss the banter with the idiot coot fans if you can believe that.
