someone please help me understand..

Oct 9, 2013, 9:10 PM

what is so great about that Clowney hit on that Michigan player in last years bowl game?

I dont wanna hate on Clowney just because he plays for the coots but I really want to understand. It seems like he was unblocked and he hits the RB real hard. but many can do the same if unblocked.

I am not saying its a not a great hit, but why all this adulation and fame for that one play? Some idiot on ESPN said Clowney is the best player in College and NFL..

I am sure atleast 10 folks in NFL can do the same play if unblocked.. Am I missing anything?

My take: It was a great play, but great plays happen every

Saturday and Sunday. It was sensationalized and basically forced down everyone's throat via ESecPN and media outlets. Again, great play, but ridiculously coveted and over-hyped. GO TIGERS!!!!!!!!

You will always be in the right if you treat others as you want to be treated!

Take Vic Beasley give his numbers to the other guy across the state, now imagine the love songs and admiration letters and the non stop blowing of sunshine up Clowney's ### if he had Vic type of numbers, that we as non Lamecock fans not just as Clemson fans but as a nation (because I have to believe that everyone but the brain dead idiots that worship USCjr. get tired of having to hear this nonsense day in and day out) would have to endure but I digress now give the numbers back to Vic have you still heard a ### thing about Vic, ##### NO.......

Totally right. Furthermore, 4.5 of his 12 sacks last year

was against one team(I know) so he has been over-hyped beyond reconciliation. Thing is, which is possibly the best part, Spurnards should have nipped all of this dysfunctional drama at it's onset. Instead, he's done nothing but promote this completely needless dysfunction. So 1st blame the media with spurnards a VERY close second. Run what you think the words unity, synergy, and selflessness means and run it thru nard sack's program then ours. Good to be a Tiger, yes?

eSECpn was looking for ways to promote the Clown since

Oct 10, 2013, 2:18 AM

they had already anointed him winner of the next Heisman. The play fell in their lap. I believe the play also had a significant impact on the game (but I may be wrong). With that said, the Clown was never a Heisman candidate despite espn's best efforts.
