Slipping under the news radar

Is this stuff (I guess I'll post in politics since it's involving Congress): The bipartisan Congressional investigation into the claims of whistleblower and former intelligence official David Grusch about UFOs, aliens, and our government hiding it all.

I know you may not have time/want to watch a 16 minute video of Congress members speaking to the press, but here are some highlights:

-They pretty much believe Grusch.
-They want to know why this has been hidden from them for so long.
-One Congresswoman mentions "interdimensional beings".
-Several references to beings that "aren't human".
-While there's a lot of deflecting, one Republican Congressman said it best (paraphrase): "We want to know why all this money has been spent since 1947 on something they repeatedly told us didn't exist."
-They plan to call more people close to the matter but don't want to say who yet because previous people were discouraged, maybe threatened, not to come forward.

The video link is below. There also appears to be a few members of Congress trying to shut down this bipartisan investigation.

At a recent academic symposium on unidentified anomalous phenomena, retired U.S. Army Col. Karl Nell described how this review board might guide the president in methodically revealing the existence of “non-human intelligence” to the public.

Moreover, according to Nell, a core objective of the legislation is averting “catastrophic” or “uncontrolled” disclosure. As the Daily Mail put it, “catastrophic disclosure” is characterized by “a chaotic release of earth-shattering revelations” which may result in profound geopolitical, social or economic turmoil.

So, my questions here:
-Where do we go as a nation, world, and species if this is revealed publicly?
-For the religious folks here, what implications does this have if true? Where does Christianity go from here?
-Does this completely--in a bipartisan manner--shatter the trust of all Americans in our government if we find out everything they've hidden?

whatever they are calling it these days) briefing to Congress by the Intel folks was going to be a typical snow job by the Intel community.

Essentially the Intel hierarchy has continued to send people to brief Congress that have a very limited knowledge of what is going on and in turn can't get caught up in lying to Congress because they truly don't know. Apparently this has been going on since Congress started these UFO briefings and now both Repubs and Dem's on the Committee are getting PO'd that they keep getting BS from the folks that owe them the answers.

My guess is that the Intel, Defense, and MIC are all about keeping this stuff under wraps for years in an effort to secretly backwards engineer this supposed UFO tech. The MIC has a lot of Congress on the payroll and that is why there are a lot of them willing to kill this from being public. If we admit to the world we have un-earthly vehicles/tech - the world is going to demand they get access. That's the last thing the Intel/DoD/MIC wants to happen.

As far as religion goes - the existence or non-existence of Aliens will have ZERO affect on my Christian faith. To believe in God is to believe in the supernatural as God is a supernatural being. Heaven itself is not of this earthly realm and exists on a different plane/dimension than our earthly existence. Angels, Satan, demons, and many other things contained in the Bible all lend themselves to creations/beings from other dimensions that crossover into our earthly dimension from time to time. Like I said - if you are a believing Christian - you already believe in the supernatural so the fact that there may be other beings (i.e. "aliens") from other dimensions is well within our belief system.

Don't know if you guys have ever listened to Joe Rogan's interview with Bob Lazar but I find this guy's claims of the US having alien craft to be more credible than most. Bob Lazar was supposedly hired by the Government to backwards engineer a piece of alien tech in the early '80s. Lazar has never written a book or otherwise sold his story to make a $buck.
