Musk calling a sitting US Senator a traitor? Oh...and Sen Kelly is also a veteran - a former Navy Captain that flew combat missions in the Gulf War and was a shuttle astronaut.

because they probably actually think Kelly is a traitor. The other MAJOR problem is that Musk has already been handed so much power, that he can negatively impact any Senator's state with an hour's worth of work. They're scared to speak out against him.

We don't know but if Kelly went over there specifically to undermine the administration in any way I suppose that could be construed as treasonous. If Kelly wants to dictate foreign policy he needs to get elected POTUS, not fly around backstabbing the current admin, which does have that responsibility. Of course if he just went over there for the usual photo op for his next campaign ad then that obviously isn't treasonous. It really would depend on what he said and who he said it to. We already know Dems are running around trying to convince Zelensky to tell Trump to shove his peace plan so the idea he'd go over there and do exactly that, or worse, isn't exactly out of the question.

Also, don't know why he called him that. Could be about something else over there. I doubt it's his position on Ukr cause then everyone with some sense would be a traitor. Unless Musk wants the war to keep going!! Hey!! Maybe that why. Then what would you do?

This is a crazy comment. If it was that easy, we'd say it. But Trump doesn't want obligated to defend it, because if we got those rights...and Russia invaded...and we were able to get the mineral rights somewhere else at a good deal, we would pull up stakes and leave. You know that's true. If that wasn't possible, then the US could put the security guarantees in writing. Instead, he almost blew up everything because Zelenskyy MENTIONED Security Guarantees during a meeting. He made him apologize, for goodness sake.

talking about? And where are they? And are they especially larger proven deposits than other places? And do any of these deposits reside where Russia is currently occupying?
I still can't believe we live in a world where America aligns with Russia over everyone else, brow-beats a democracy suffering an unprovoked invasion from a dictator, and is trying to bully the invaded country into handing over mineral rights in exchange for no security guarantees, no entry into NATO and...not only no return of land, but possibly giving up more land than Russia has already taken. Russia demands that there will be no peacekeepers in Ukraine as part of a cease fire deal. It is an absolute garbage deal and I see no solution other than Europe decoupling from America and getting serious about their defense budgets.

I think it's a reasonable position...not sure I agree with it, but it's certainly possible. Problem is one could make the same case if Russia controlled more of Ukraine too.
One question is where are the mineral deposits? I've seen different takes on this with some saying a big percentage of the deposits are in Russia-controlled regions.

Step 1: Ukraine signs away Mineral Rights to USA at rock bottom pricing.
Step 2: Cease fire.
Step 3: Fast forward to a year from now...Russia has rebuilt it's depleted coffers and arsenal.
Step 4: Putin tells Trump that he can have access to THEIR mineral rights at even better terms...he will even through in some beautiful oil. All he has to do is get out of way in Ukraine.
Does anyone...ANYONE...pretend to not know exactly how that would go? That Trump wouldn't take that in a heart beat and turn around to his constituents to brag about what a beautiful deal he just did and how we're all going to be so rich?
Ukraine cannot trust us right now. It is shameful but true. Signing a deal with us is signing away their country to Russia when we sell them out.

Publication: The statement must be shared with someone other than the plaintiff.
