childish and uncalled for. Why put all of the blame of DJ?? Mistakes were made yesterday and during the season by the entire team. Fumbles, dropped passes, inconsistent OL play, defense gave up 31 points could stop the pass. But many of our DB’s are young and inexperienced. From what I have seen our 22 and 23 recruiting classes look really talented.
I want to know what do you expect from Clemson football? What do you expect from Dabo and his staff and the players, each year?
Through Dabo’s leadership Clemson has won 2 more NC’s , 6 or more ACC titles and 12 years with 10 or more wins and the first college football program to go 15-0 in 2018. All with in 10 years!
Dabo’s quote “ Best is the Standard “ does not guarantee perfection. Even the best make mistakes. I would like to believe Clemson Fans are unique. They will wake up today sorry for the many hateful spiteful post. I just don’t believe that will happen.
Is it fair to expect our fans to give support and money only when we are winning or even during times of adversity.
What do fans realistically expect from the football program year after year???

Most of the posts I've seen blame coaching more than DJ. But I'm not reading everything.
However, "best is the standard" implies that somebody who isn't performing will get relieved of duty. Since you bring up DJ, this may have been his single worst game. The precedent's already set for Cade to come in "for a spark." If we needed a spark in any game, it was this one.
But of course it's not all DJ's fault. It's mainly poor coaching/game plan.

The crybaby from yesterday is back. When you have success at the level Clemson has, and then things fall apart, what do you expect? If you think anybody is reading your virtue signaling other than us on Tigernet you’re crazy. Negativity and lots of questions will be the theme for the next 9 months. Buckle up soft boy.

Give it a break already. You’re being ridiculous. I’m a Clemson graduate, attended games since before I was playing tball, South Carolina native. Sat in the stands through every high and low we can experience. I’m also a sunshine pumper. I’m fully bought into the program. I’m not a Winthrop graduate who cheers for a team I didn’t attend.
Dabo is paid better than all but two coaches in college football. If you think we should all be playing patty cake after yesterdays loss and the last two frustrating seasons, you’re a fool. Coaching is one of the last remaining vocations in this world where accountability still exists. Do your job (winning is the job - like it or not, it’s not debatable) or be held accountable.
No, Dabo doesn’t need to be fired. But he sure as heck needs to be held accountable for his coaching hires, playcalling, and player development. Anyone with an ounce of football knowledge can see all three of those have been suspect for several years. Accountability looks like this - you’re paid to be the best so fix the mistakes or be held accountable to them.

It's not about what we expect- It's about WHAT we are seeing. AND it's not good. If something doesn't change quickly UNC will embarrass us- get ready for it.

I want a team to represent Clemson that plays hard, gives the 110% on every play, plays smart, and maintains self control. But I also want a team out there that is well prepared for the opponent, are put in position to be successful, has a leader of offense and defense that performs to the highest level to elevate the play of his teammates. I also want a coach that recognizes when things are going sideways and makes the necessary call to get the game plan back on track. Not a lot of this was evident yesterday in this game.

Great, great post. Honesty and reality have become lost values in the world of the world of "fake news". When you write your check to IPTAY, you are guaranteed nothing except you will be providing a chance for young mew and women to get a great education and an opportunity for you to get tickets and have a place to park. If you think it is something else, you should give your money to another cause.
