The FBI and the DOJ break the law far too often in their 'protect us from all evil' activities.
FBI's deployment of 'rioters' as a means of identifying people who have committed no crime, but who are then terrified by the FBI's 'show me the man and I'll show you the crime' threat is in itself a horrific crime. The FBI and DOJ use this tactic to suborn perjury on innocent civilians.
Ever heard of Federal Judge Emmett Sullivan? He's a Clinton appointee who overturned the DOJ's / FBI's illicitly successful (and incorrect) lower court ruling against former US Senator Ted Stevens (R-Alaska).
Judge Sullivan exposed the DOJ and FBI for suborning perjury (and also exposed them for illegality as far as Brady rules) in the Ted Stevens trial.
The FBI and DOJ had an agenda to intimidate even those citizens who chose to peacefully protest.
FBI and DOJ have compromised their integrity; tragically we can no longer trust them to 'protect and serve' any other than the Democrat party.

Well the FBI agents would have to do everything they could possibly do to incite & agitate the crowd and stir up some type of unlawful or violent actions wouldn't they?
How else would you expect them to be able to participate in the fake insurrection without "blowing their cover"?

Got any views on the Building 7 collapse on 9-11?
It's fascinating how little scrutiny of what happened to Bldg 7 on that day, or scrutiny of 'engineering explanations' about how Bldg 7 collapsed. Allegedly due to the 'shock effect' from the collapse of both Twin Towers, the public has largely ignored what happened to Bldg. 7.
Again, interested in your views, including of the 'coincidence' that the CIA had copious secret files and records in Bldg 7.
All of the CIA secret files were allegedly destroyed on 9-11 by the collapse of Bldg. 7. Nothing / NADA at all recovered. The FBI's role was to create a periphery around the collapsed Bldg. 7 to prevent access to any detritus from any outsiders.

For sure, after their role in the fake Russia Hoax matter, the leadership of the FBI would be highly motivated to 'prove' an insurrection had taken place in their hope of restoring their tainted-by-the-Russia-hoax operation.
Most crooked people, when faced with a threat after being exposed for an illegal or immoral activity, will double down on their initial crime in hopes of 'getting away with it all.'
This has been the case with Putin in the Ukraine and with the FBI + DOJ with the Russia Hoax. Both Putin and FBI/DOJ have doubled and tripled down with additional illegal / immoral activity in hopes of 'winning' and therefore avoiding retribution for their crimes.

This short version is the prosecution doesn't want the defense to have access to information regarding the FBI's confidential human sources (keyword confidential and notably not agents) and the usual suspects have interpreted that as a deep state conspiracy.
